Zachary Wight feels incredibly lucky to live in a place that has an incredible focus on providing access to natural environments. From the large Anacortes Community Forest Lands on the center of Fidalgo Island with old growth forest to Washington Park on the very west-most peninsula of the island. These places helped him develop a love for the idea of genius loci (the spirit of place) on long hikes with his dog Kala.
