Ace of Hearts Creek Rotary Dog Park
A 1.5 acre, fenced, off-leash dog park with running water, a gazebo, kiddie pools, benches, chuckits and balls.

Off Leash Dog Area
This temporary site is fully enclosed and dog waste disposal bags are available. Portable restrooms are onsite for the owner’s as well. Dogs must have current vaccinations and a license as well. The permanent dog park is under development at approximately 38th Street and H Avenue.

AARF: The Anacortes Animal Relief Fund
AARF provides financial assistance for low-income pet owners of Anacortes, helping with vet bills, spay/neuter, local food bank donations and much more. We do not have a shelter; however, we occasionally rescue and foster animals when we have foster families available. We are completely non-profit, run solely by donations and volunteer efforts.

Summit Assistance Dogs

Changing lives four paws at a time. Summit Assistance Dogs provides highly skilled mobility, hearing and professional therapy dogs for people living with disabilities.

The Cat’s Meow
The Cat’s Meow was founded in February 2004 with the intention of becoming a full-service shelter for homeless cats on Fidalgo and Guemes Islands. For two years, we operated as a non-sheltering, volunteer rescue network.
