Brother Dege

Brother Dege will tour the West Coast with his solo Delta-style shows as he prepares for the release of his highly anticipated fourth album Farmer’s Almanac – a massive, sprawling, southern concept album teaming with otherworldly slide guitars, rural psych, barn burning anthems, and world-class songwriting that strives for the upper reaches of southern literary greats like Faulkner, Eudora Welty, Barry Hannah. The release of the album (June 2018) will coincide with European and American tours that kick off with a headlining showcase at SXSW 2018 at Austin’s legendary Antone’s. Brother Dege, a nationally recognized slide guitarist and featured artist on the Django Unchained soundtrack. He is a musician and writer, born/raised in the swamplands of Louisiana. Like the possessed love child of Son House and Blind Willie Johnson, he plays a post-Americana style of Delta Blues filtered through roots music, rock & roll, and a bunch of other stuff.
