Lyn Linder received an art scholarship and her B.A. in art education from Seattle Pacific University. With her MBA that she later earned, she founded Linder Design Group, bringing her artist’s eye and strong sense of color and scale to residential and commercial interiors. While designing interiors, Lyn realized she could incorporate the client’s individual needs for personal art with her abilities to create fine art. Her goal is for the viewer of a finished piece to be a participant, not a spectator.
Lyn is emerging as an acrylic painter worth watching. Her technique crosses Realism with some of the softer edges and painterly qualities of Impressionism. She creates images in an Impressionistic style that convey the simple beauty found around us in landscapes, seascapes and unique settings. As a master gardner, she sees the intricate details and paints them in florals and classic garden scenes.
She won Best in Show in the North Beach Arts Festival in Washington. Linder is a member of the International Society of Acrylic Artists and Skagit Art Association.
She hopes her God-given talent, passion and creativity are conveyed in her work.
